All about Real Ale

Invented almost more than 6000 years ago Real Ale is still the most preferable cocktail for every beer drinker who likes refreshing, vigorous drink that is full of flavor and goodness. It is said that it was invented by Ancient Egyptians almost 6000 years ago which had been brewed from a mixture of sand, crushed dead beetle and cat's urine. However, there has been change in brewing methods but we can't say very much. This is because Real Ale still gives delicious taste and because of that it has been marked as one of the most famous drink in the world.
Nowadays, Real Ale has become part of many beers drinking nations' culture and also got different social traditions and associations which include beer festivals and a wealthy pub culture relating activities which may include pub crawling and different pub games such as bar billiards and fighting. The term "Real Ale" Was invented by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) in the 1970s. UK based CAMRA actively promotes real ale and pubs that serve real ale.
As talked that Real Ale's invention was made by Ancient Egyptians but it is also considered by many beer historians that it is present on the earth more than that time. Year by year it is brewing methods that have been developing since the invention of beer. Because of this a large variety of beers have been developed.
We'll talk about two of such varieties. They are Keg Beer and Cask Ale. Beer that is unfiltered and unpasteurized and which has undergone a slow fermentation procedure by keeping in the vessel from which it is serve (which is called as a cask) is known as Cask Ale. You can also refer it to as Real Ale. On opposite side Keg beer is a type of beer that has undergone the primary fermentation process as cask Ale, but has been filtered and pasteurized and no further conditioning. Normally, Cask Ale is known as cask conditioned where as Keg Beer is known as brewery conditioned beer.
Usually Real Ale is prepared with top-fermenting yeast and it is fermented at higher temperatures. Real ales are usually referred as different types of ales; however they can also be referred to as Bitters, Porters, Milts, Stouts, and Barley Wines. Real ale is never referred to as a lager. This is because Real Ales and lagers are different types of beers. Lagers are fermented with bottom-fermenting yeast and are fermented at colder temperatures for long periods of time as compared to Real Ale.
